In the Ukrainian city of Brody, St. Vladimir Church – one of the last remaining churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Lviv region –– was taken away from the faithful.

On 8^th October, after the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Lavra that marked the commemoration day of St. Sergius the Wonderworker, Abbot of Radonezh, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ met with Mrs Tamara Vučić, spouse of the Serbian President.

From 27th September to 2nd October, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ and at the invitation of His Holiness Catholicos-Patriarch Mar Awa III of the Assyrian Church of the East, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, visited Iraq.

On October 1, at the invitation of Archbishop Nicodemus DaoudSharaf of Mosul, Kirkuk and Kurdistan, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, visited the Cathedral of the Most Holy Mother of God of the Syriac Orthodox Diocese in Erbil.
