On September 22, on the afterfeast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos and the commemoration of the Righteous Ancestors of God, Joachim and Anna, Metropolitan Varsonofy of St. Petersburg and Ladoga celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the compound of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission named after Righteous Tabitha in Jaffa (Tel Aviv).

On September 22, a regular meeting of the Commission for International Cooperation of the Council for Interaction with Religious Associations under the President of Russia was held at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

On 18th September, the VIII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions continued its work. Speaking at the ceremony, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill expressed his satisfaction at the results of the Congress’s work.

On September 2–3, 2025, representatives of the monastic community of the Coptic Church, currently on a pilgrimage to Russia with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Rus', visited churches and monasteries of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis.

On August 31, the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, a conciliar service was held at the Church of St. George of the Antiochian Patriarchate in Buenos Aires. The Divine Liturgy was led by the hierarch of the Antiochian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Santiago (James) of Buenos Aires and All Argentina, Bishop John of Caracas and South America (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia), and Bishop Leonid of Argentina and South America.

On September 2, a meeting between His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Russian Federation, Tanju Bilgiç, took place at the Patriarchal and Synodal Residence in the Danilov Stavropegial Monastery in Moscow. He was accompanied by the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Turkey, Fatih Mert Arslan.

From August 21 to 29, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', a pilgrimage to Russia was made by thirty deans and senior priests representing 22 countries under the pastoral responsibility of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa.
